Robert Luther Craig

My Cousin, Robert Craig passed away this week. He was thirty-three years old. He has two children under the age of ten. So, it has been an emotional week for our family. We still do not know the cause of death. We are awaiting the Cornaners report. My uncle Dennis asked me make memory boards of Rob's life. There were enough pictures to make four boards. It was a neat expereince for me. I did not know Rob in life that well, but through the process of putting these boards together, I was able to learn many things about him. He was a devoted father and loved his kids. Most of all, he loved his older brother, Chris. They were always together. At times it was the only thing either of them had. They were each others greatest gift. During his memorial service we were reminded many times of the Atonement and how it is our greatest gift from our Saviour, Jesus Christ.

I Love To See The Temple
I love the Washington D.C. Temple. It is one of my favorties. This is where my family was sealed! Many memories of my youth include this temple!

Young Family Fun in the Sun Day with Aunt Rene'e
4941 Juno Rd, Virgina Beach, Virginia
Trip to Virgina (the mother-land!!)
In September, I flew to Virgina Beach to spend time with some very dear friends! It was great to spend time with Kimball and her very cute family! It was a very relaxing vacation! Much needed relaxation!!! Here are some pictures from the trip!
P.S. I grew up in Virgina Beach! Dad was in the Military and spent most of his career in Norfolk/Virgina Beach. It was a "mother-land" homecoming for me!!! I was able to visit my old house, high school, and other places of nostalgic importance!

New Calling and Assignment @ Church
Well, the Lord has surprised me again. On Sunday, I was released as the Ward Primary Music Director (Fancy title for Primary Chorister). I have mixed feelings. I did not realize how much my heart was in it until I was saying good-bye to the kids.WOW-- i am going to miss them so MUCH!!! I have been called to be the Home,Personal, & Family Enrichment Leader. Man that is a title. I hope I got it right? I am excited, unsure, and have never "done" relief society before. We will see how it go's!!!!!

David Cook Concert!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Okay, so for a night last week I felt like I was a teenager again and on my way to the New Kids on the Block Concert. But it was much better than NKOTB. I went to the David Cook Concert with my friend, Amy. It was her first concert which made it all the more better. I think I am officially a Cook for Cougar! It was soooo wonderful. It was a great show as well!!! Lots of Fun!
P.S. When we parked, I saw David Cooks, brother playing football. I thought to myself I wonder who he is playing football with??? Guess who it was????? David Cook, American Idol 2008 winner!! Yeah baby! So, I had to get my camera out and hide behind the cars to take his picture. You know heaven forbid he see me taking his picture! Everyone asked me if we said anything to him and the answer would be NO!!! I guess I was to star struck or something like that. He is coming back on the 20th and June and we are going!

Royals Game: Opening Weekend
My brother Brad and his family are true-blue Royals fans. My nephew Zachary can tell you the name of every player, their number, what position they play, and anything else you want to know about the Royals. I tagged along with them to opening weekend on Saturday, April 11, 2009. It was alot of fun. The renovations on the stadium are very very cool. You can actually hang out at The "K" (Kaufman Stadium) hours before the game because their is so much to do and see. I love that they do this as a family. The royals lost but three good things came of the night: 1. Justin kept saying "charge" to the players. 2. Got to s
ee Derek Jeter and the Yankees play! and finally 3. got to see my little Zach-attack with his Royals back pack on! He is too cute! Oh! and I got to have some Nachos at the"K"----yummy!Happy 16th Meghan: Jason Aldean Concert
Meghan turned sixteen this year. Mom and Dad always get us kids a extra nice gift for this special year. Meghan really wanted to see Jason Aldean in concert. So, she got two tickets for her birthday. I was able to take her. It was on Friday, March 13th. It actually turned out to be lots of fun. She got to be front and center stage. Below are some of the pictures she took. She also got his autograph and got to touch his hand. As we were leaving the concert, she said she was never going to wash her hand again...... Is that being a teenager or what??? Hard to believe my baby sister is 16 years old....where does the time go????

Is this me?? Please respond
I took a quiz on Facebook about your birthday month and how your b-day month affects your personality. Does this sound like me:
JANUARY Birthdays: Stubborn and hard-hearted. Ambitious and serious. Loves to teach and be taught. Always looking at people?s flaws and weaknesses. Likes to criticize. Hardworking and productive. Smart, neat and organized. Sensitive and has deep thoughts. Knows how to make others happy. Quiet unless excited or tensed. Rather reserved. Highly attentive. Resistant to illnesses but prone to colds. Romantic but has difficulties expressing love. Loves children. Loyal. Has great social abilities yet easily jealous. Very stubborn and money cautious.
Leave me a note and let me know what you think???
We are thinking Pink--It's a Girl!!!
I am so very excited. For those of you who know me, you know that I am a devoted Aunt Nay-Nay. I love both of my nephews very much! But there is just something about a baby girl with a hair bow and pretty dress.... I am very excited to report that my brother Brad and sister-in-law LeeAnne are having a baby girl in August. They are not releasing any names as of yet. But I am sure Zachary will tell us! I knew I loved that kid, ALOT!!! Zachary wants to name her Daisey! Yes you read that right! But, momma & daddy have confirmed that will not be her name. Anyway--I am excited to finally meet my niece! She will be adorable and very much loved!
