More New York City Pictures

These are pictures of my "NEW YORK MYSTERY MAN!" We were eating dinner and killing sometime before Wicked started and this man caught my eye! I could not focus on anything but him. He reminded me of Rob Pattinson! So, I pretended I was taking a picture of Sarah to get his! Yes, I know it was very
stalk--ish of me! But I had to have a picture...or two!

Random shots of Me, Abbie, Denise-Denise-Denise,and Sarah! These ladies are great and I just love them! We had so much fun! Also, the two pictures of construction sites are of Ground Zero. It was a construction zone and this is all we could see. Still very somber though! My heart was touched...

Spring-time in New York City! Everything was a-blooming!

These are some of my pictures from our Cruise to Staten Island. I will post some from our visit to Ellis Island as well. My heart was very touched when we were approaching Lady Liberty! I got a little choked up. Everything she stands for and what this country is all about hit me all at once! I am very grateful and proud to be an American! God Bless the USA!

What a fun day of Shopping and Food! Spent most of my New York fun money on this day! I had to buy another suitcase for all of my treasures!

Times Square April 2010

A very bustling morning in New York City. We arrived in Times Square at 6:30 a.m. We got there that early to stand in line to buy our Broadway tickets! We were able to get tickets for Wicked and West Side Story! What an experience. Seeing Wicked was one of my favorite moments in New York City!

Maddie and Taylor Wilson's Wedding

Today one of my former YW got married in the Winter Quarters Nebraska LDS Temple. Maddie is such a wonderful person who loves the Lord and is a person who shows it in everything she does. Taylor is a lucky man. It was a sweet experience to see the Lord's plan for each of us come full circle. It was an honor to be her YW President and now her friend! Congrats Maddie and Taylor! Here are some pictures! Enjoy!

Terrified

The Only Exception: YOU!

When I was younger I saw my daddy cry and curse
at the wind. Broke his own heart and I watched
as he tried to reassemble it.
And my momma swore that she would
never let herself forget.
And that was the day that I promised I'd
never sing of love if it does not exist

But darling you are the only exception

Maybe I know somewhere deep in my soul that love never lasts
And we've got to find other ways to make it alone
Keep a straight face
I've always lived like this
Keeping a comfortable distance
And up until now I had sworn to myself that I'm content with loneliness
Because none of it was ever worth the risk

Well you are the only exception

I've got a tight grip on reality but I can't let go of
what's in front of me here.
I know you're leaving in the morning when you wake up
Leave me with some kind of proof it's not a dream

You are the only exception

I'm on my way to believing

This is what you do to me!

Falling Slowly

I don't know you
But I want you
All the more for that
Words fall through me
And always fool me
And I can't react
And games that never amount
To more than they're meant
Will play themselves out

Take this sinking boat and point it home
We've still got time
Raise your hopeful voice you have a choice
You'll make it now

Falling slowly, eyes that know me
And I can't go back
Moods that take me and erase me
And I'm painted black
You have suffered enough
And warred with yourself
It's time that you won

Take this sinking boat and point it home
We've still got time
Raise your hopeful voice you had a choice
You've made it now
Falling slowly sing your melody
I'll sing along

P.S. You know who you are....
