A Good-Bye I did not want to say!

I know that it has been a while since my last blog! When you are the YW President, you don't have time for much of anything. Well, now I have all the time in the world ! I was released as the YW President two weeks ago. My heart broke that day and still is on some ways.... I can honestly say that I have never felt so weak in the knees that I could not stand and bare my testimony, when the Bishop asked me to! I literally felt like the wind had been kicked out of me. As I was standing there looking at the congregation I was reminded of a time when I was on my mission. We were at a Stake Conference and had a visiting authority, and he asked Sister Smith (my mission mom) to bear her testimony. Sister Smith was not a public speaker. She got very nervous and weak in the knees. She asked that all of the missionaries to stand as she bore her testimony. She needed our strength and power. It was an honor to stand and give her the strength she needed. It is one moment I will never forget.

Well, with the Bishops permission I asked the YW to stand up and give me the strength to bear my testimony. It really touched my heart that they all stood up without hesitation. As soon as they were up, I literally felt the power they had within in themselves strengthen me. i had power to speak and strength to stand. A very tender mercy and moment that I will NEVER forget! What love I felt at that very moment! I love these girls so much! My girls are in great hands. The new YW president is a wonderful person and I am so glad the Lord chose her to lead, love, teach, and nurture my Girls!

"Gang-Sta" Girl Fun!

Nancy, Sara and myself got together for a little "gang-sta" girl fun! I worked with them at the Dental Office. We all have moved on to bigger and better things, but we have remained good friends. I love these Girls! They are the BEST! We had so much fun!

Dan and Jen's Wedding

Me, Mom, and Zachary went to Wichita, Kansas a few weekends ago for my cousin Daniels wedding. It was a fun little get-away for the three of us. We rented a vehicle because I had a free rental. Zachary called it our travel car. Every time we would go somewhere in it-- he would say let's go get into our travel car. We stayed with my cousin Stacey and my Aunt Teri. He called Aunt Teri's house our travel house. He did not want to leave our travel house when it was time to go. He get's so attached to the people and things he likes! He had so much fun and we made many memories that weekend! Oh-- the wedding was nice too!

On the 5th of July Me, Mom, Dad, Meghan, Brad, LeeAnne, Zachary, and Baby Justin went to dinner and for a walk in Fountain Park. It was a beautiful evening outside. Zachary did get a little sad because he could not understand why he wasn't able to get in the fountain like the ones at Crown Center!

LeeAnne and Justin! Look at his croc's. Aren't they Festive?
